Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson has been suspended for two games after striking Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb following their Monday Night Football game. The incident occurred after the Bills' 37-34 overtime victory over the Rams at SoFi Stadium.
Jackson was doing a jersey swap with another Bills player when Chubb spoke to him and walked away. Jackson followed, confronted Chubb, and threw a strike that knocked Chubb's hat off.
League calls it unsportsmanlike conduct
In a press release, the NFL called Jackson's blow "an act of unsportsmanlike conduct." Jackson is set to miss games against Arizona and Las Vegas but will appeal the ruling, Rams coach Sean McVay said.

McVay reacts and names replacement
McVay said, "Have to make better decisions than that." He added that he spoke with Jackson and will keep details in-house, saying he wants to understand the totality of the situation and is not condoning the action.
David Quessenberry will be the Rams' starting left tackle during Jackson's absence, McVay said. The 36-year-old veteran has played just 128 offensive snaps over the previous two seasons and hasn't started an NFL game since 2023.
