Ffos Las hosts a Wednesday jumps card whose feature is the Faucets Handicap Chase, where Il Est Francais makes his debut for the Dan Skelton yard against Jonjo and AJ O'Neill's Crebilly.

Il Est Francais, a dual Grade 1 winner including the 2023 Kauto Star Novices' Chase, has been pulled up on his past three starts and must concede weight to his rivals.

Crebilly and other contenders

Crebilly doubled his tally over fences with a win at Worcester on his last outing in September and is reported to have a fitness edge. Saint Segal, who won twice last season, should appreciate the drop into handicaps after contesting top-level events in the spring. Torneo, Down Memory Lane and Southoftheborder are rated each-way players.

The move to a new yard may spark a return to form but he will need to be at the top of his game to concede weight all round.

Novices' Chase and supporting races

The Listed Adept GRP Cabinets Novices' Chase has drawn four runners, headed by the Paul Nicholls-trained Tutti Quanti, a 151-rated hurdler making his fences debut under Sam Twiston-Davies. Captain Teague, a Grade 1-winning novice hurdler, makes his first start for Dan Skelton after switching from Nicholls, while George's Lad and Tamarind Bay also feature.

In the 2.20 JCP Solicitors Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, Skelton's Sinnatra and Nicholls's Pourquoi Pas Papa head the field. The card also includes the 2.55 RWK Goodman Veterans' Handicap Chase, the 4.05 Adept GRP Cabinets Native River Handicap Chase and the 5.13 Enigma Flooring Handicap Chase.
