TechCrunch Founder Summit begins Nov. 4 at 9:00 a.m. ET at Boston's SoWa Power Station, with four days left to register. The event, presented by Fidelity Private Shares, is pitched as a full day of networking, insights and connections for founders and VCs.

Organizers say attendees can save up to $100 on a pass and get a second pass free before the doors open.

How the networking works

The Founder Summit Networking Lounge, powered by Braindate, lets attendees schedule one-on-one and small-group conversations around specific topics. Participants can bring a question or share their own experience and find others who want the same discussion.

Braindate also lets attendees follow up on ideas raised elsewhere in the program. Examples given include discussing product-market fit after hearing Kent Bennett, comparing notes on fundraising after watching founder pitches, and meeting other founders building in Boston after hearing Chase Garbarino.

Sometimes the most useful thing you leave an event with isn’t another page of notes. It’s a person you didn’t know that morning.

Other ways to connect

Connections are not limited to the lounge. Roundtables host smaller, topic-driven conversations, breakout sessions let on-stage panels take questions from the room, and the Expo Hall brings attendees and partners together throughout the day. A closing reception gives founders, investors and operators time to keep talking without rushing to another session.

Official Side Events are also planned across Boston all week long, extending the summit beyond the venue and event day.
