Amazon on Thursday introduced two new Bee listening devices, the Bee Frontier wearable and the Bee Eclipse credit card-sized voice recorder, as it expands its presence in the AI gadget market.
The Bee Frontier, an upgraded version of Amazon's existing wearable, can be worn on a wrist or clipped to clothing. It offers up to seven days of battery life and costs $75, compared with $50 for its predecessor. Amazon acquired Bee, a San Francisco startup known for its always-listening bracelet, in July 2025 for an undisclosed amount.
New devices and features
The Bee Frontier's dual microphones have upgraded noise filtering. Amazon said in a blog post that the device can "take note of what matters and ignore what doesn't, even in noisy environments like a crowded restaurant or open office."
The $100 Bee Eclipse works like other Bee devices but magnetically snaps onto the back of a smartphone instead of being worn. The Bee Frontier is available Thursday, while the Bee Eclipse "will be available soon," the company said.

Recording and subscription details
When turned on, Bee devices are always recording. Amazon says this enables conversation summaries and the ability to review memories from the past few days. It can also track recurring trends or themes to give personalized goals or actions.
A Bee Pro subscription costs $12 per month and includes unlimited conversation summaries, daily memories, and integrations with Amazon's webstore, its Alexa+ AI assistant, and third-party apps. Amazon said Bee devices are designed so that "no one, including Amazon, can access your data," and users can delete transcripts and summaries at any time. An LED light signals when the gadgets are recording.
